Are You A 🔥 Hotty?  Or Super ❄️ Chill?  A Chili Lime Mango Margarita is both!

Choose a heavy, but a bit soft mango from the store.  Not sure about mango’s?  You can use some frozen mango  if you prefer or, in a pinch, buy mango puree already processed.    Add about 1 cup of the mango to the blender and let it go on high for about 30 seconds, until the mango is smooth.

Then, add 2 cups of ice cubes, 6 ounces of silver tequila.  Add 2 ounces of simple syrup, 3 ounces of Cointreau or Grand Marnier, or Triple Sec.  Zest 1 lime and juice 3 limes.  You need about 2 ounces of fresh lime juice.  Add 1/2 cup orange juice.    Now you can decide about the heat.  If you like a bit of spice, add a few drops of your favorite hot sauce.   Check the sweetness and the heat and adjust if necessary.  If you’d rather not have the spice, just skip the hot sauce.

The Rim

Take out 4 of your favorite margarita glasses.   Rim the glasses with lime.  On a small plate, add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon chili powder and the zest of two limes.  With a fork, mix well.  Roll glass rims in the salt.  Pour to the rim, then garnish with a lime wheel and Bob’s your uncle.  Cheers!
