Celebrate National Ice Cream Day July 19th
I don’t think you need an actual reason to enjoy Ice cream, but if you do, National Ice Cream Day is upon us. Summer is officially here and by that I mean, hotter than $+#@ days. I thought this would be the perfect time to reflect on ice creams past, present and future. Who doesn’t love ice cream? I have put together a collection of some of my favorite ice cream recipes from blogs past, a Ice Cream Review.
If ever there was a better time to get out the old ice cream maker, I can’t think of it. This summer, treat yourself to the ultimate summer dessert. I don’t have 31 flavors to share, but I do have a few favorites.
I have been making ice cream for family and friends since the beginning of time. It’s my signature dessert. There’s almost nothing better than real, homemade vanilla ice cream with real vanilla beans. I pair that with a decadent homemade chocolate sauce and believe me, no one’s upset about it.
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Double Chocolate Zucchini Cookie Coconut Ice Cream Sandwiches
Okay, one last ice cream, this one is an ice cream sandwich. I really love ice cream sandwiches. They remind me of being a kid and by the way, still a favorite. I made the cookies a bit healthy, but no one will know they’re full of zucchini. (Seriously, I can add zucchini to anything!). These cookies are soft, perfect for an ice cream sandwich. The ice cream is “nice-cream”, dairy free because it’s made with coconut milk instead of cream.
